This mission became our mission when we opened The Green House 10 years ago. And now, we are extending this mission to our online store. It is organized around our physical store with easy to follow menus and and collections of products with information to help you make better decisions. Navigating Our Online Store
The online store is organized around our physical store using a simple menu system. Move your mouse over the "Products" menu item and a sub-menu of product types will be shown. Click on any of these items to display a collection of products. If there are a lot of products in any category, quick links will be offered to narrow your search.
There is a huge number of dietary supplements and herbal medicines that do not fit into the basic Products category so we created a Popular Categories again based on how customers shop in our physical store. The menu works the same way: Move your cursor over "Popular Categories" and a list of sub-categories will be displayed. Click on any one of them to see a collection of products for the associated collection.
Most Category screens will provide some basic information about the products as well as some recommendations/information from us to help your decision process. Information is followed by images of the products as well as pricing information. To view a particular product, just click on the product image. Up to 12 products can be displayed per page but there may be more. Just use the arrow links at the bottom of the screen to navigate between pages.
Finally, you get to a particular product. Here is an example of Margaret's custom cleanse kit. You can click on the thumbnail images below the larger image to see the ingredients list. You can click on the larger image to magnify.
Most products are discussed using several methods: Large green text in quotes is from us - a one sentence description on an important aspect of the product. The regular black text is usually the description from the manufacturer. Sometimes there is a red Quick Facts section which summarizes the product from our perspective such as how long it lasts, monthly cost, standard discounting policy, etc.
To purchase a product, click on the "Add to Cart" green button just under the price. A message "Added to Cart" will be displayed. A link will also appear if you want to see your product in your cart. Otherwise, use your page back button or the menus to continue shopping.
Can't find what you want? Know what you want but don't want to use the menus? Just use the Search Box at the upper right of every window. It is a whole word search but it will match any word in any product prioritizing by where the word is found (first words are listed first). Don't use partial words, such as "anti" for "antioxidant", will not find a match.
Right now, our Check Out uses Google Checkout. It is safe and secure and easy to set up if you have never used it before. To begin your checkout process, just click on the "Checkout" link at the top right of every page. You will see the Shopping Cart page:
To continue the checkout process, just click on the CHECKOUT green button or, if you already have a Google Wallet/Checkout account, click on the blue & white button below to expedite the process.
Benefits of a Customer Account
You are never required to create a customer account to shop with us. But you will be offered a chance to create a customer account after you check out your first order. There are a couple of benefits for those who create a customer account. First, your order history will be kept which means reordering will be much easier if you're like me and forget what product I ordered the last time. Second, we will offer our customers special offers and discounts on a regular basis. So, if this appeals to you, please sign up!
We are happy to accept returned unopened products for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. We are also happy to replace any defective products for no charge. Please contact us in advance to so that we can make arrangements for the return and refund.
